I got referred to Simon when I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis as he is considered one of the best in the industry dealing with this condition. Thank goodness I did. During my first ever colonoscopy the first doctor ( not Simon ) was only able to get half way round my colon but was able to diagnose ulcerative colitis, it was at this point Simon recommended he repeated the procedure again to ensure the whole colon was seen. It was this invaluable recommendation that I am going to be forever thankful. I was very nervous about the procedure but Simon was so calming and reassured me throughout the whole process, I was even laughing moments before the procedure. It was during this second procedure where he successfully saw the full colon that Simon discovered 8 polyps that he successfully removed. If these had been left things could have been quite a different story in a few years. I was quite emotional and nervous about the results of the polyps biopsy, Simon knew this and acted not only as the upmost professional but also empathetic and talked to me honestly and frankly understanding my feelings. The aftercare I received has been great, Simon clearly knows his profession and has put me at ease with my management plan. I now have to be screened every 18 months / 2 years for the foreseeable. There was a choice of whose care this should be under but for me and my husband there was no choice it had to be Simon. I know that I am in the best care and I could not recommend Simon and his practice enough.

I had a problem with my Stomach, which did not clear up, so my GP recommended I see a consultant.After conducting some research myself, I selected Dr Simon Campbell. At my first appointment Dr Campbell listened carefully and suggested a "belt and Braces" approach to carry out a very thorough examination and investigation by CT scan and Colonoscopy. These were arranged promptly, the procedures explained thoroughly, and carried out in a prompt and informative manner, with the results delivered within minutes of the completion of the procedure-thus providing peace of mind. At the follow up consultation a thorough and detailed assessment of the results were delivered. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dr Campbell. Both he, and his PA Sarah were the consummate professionals, in every aspect of my care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Campbell over the last three years and have been extremely impressed with his professionalism, presentation and patience. He listens carefully to the patient and leaves no stone unturned in dealing with the problem. He is easy to communicate with and has an excellent Secretary who is readily available if I have a query. I would have no hesitation at all in recommending him to friends or family.

I have been under Dr Simon Campbell’s care for the last 5 months. From the 1st consultation/examination including a scan a procedure which Dr Campbell did in December 2017 which all went well. I can’t praise Dr Campbell enough. From the first consultation to just recently where my symptoms have completely gone. Thanks again to Dr Campbell and his team.
